The best vegan restaurants in Malmö, Sweden
Malmö has one of the best vegan food scenes in Sweden. Not bad for being only the 3rd largest city.
It has everything from greasy pub grub to pizza, and is inspired by food from all over the world. Whether you’re in the mood for Asian inspired fusion, are craving a fresh smoothie bowl with flavours from Indonesia or want to indulge in a Lebanese buffet, Malmö has it all.

Dubbel Dubbel - Asian Fusion
Yummy rating: 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
My recommendation: The dessert bao
One of my favourite food finds in Malmö is Dubbel Dubbel, an Asian Fusion restaurant offering a delicious vegan sharing menu.
The menu incldues steamed dumplings filled with mushrooms, fried wontons, bao and pac choi that left Peter saying “how can they make a leaf taste so good?!”
But Dubbel Dubbel’s best thing on the menu in my opinion is their fried dessert bao!
I’m still dreaming of that deep fried bao coated in sugary goodness with ginger ice cream, dulce de leche, berry sauce and peanuts.

Lotta Love Superfoodbar - bringing Bali to Malmö
Yummy rating: 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
My recommendation: Classic Acai bowl
If you ever want to experience the feeling of being in Hawaii or Bali in the heart of Malmö, head to Lotta Love Superfoodbar.
Their acai bowls are incredible, topped with delicious things like home-made granola and peanut butter, passionfruit or coconut flakes.
They also offer a different lunch menu every day from 11:30 but they don’t make more once it’s sold out.

Farm2Table - plant-based coffee and cakes
Yummy rating: 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
My recommendation: Everything is amazing
One of my favourite places in Malmö, Farm2Table has it all: waffles, bagels, avocado toast, smoothies…and don’t even get me started on their cakes and cookies.
Every weekend Farm2Table has a new brunch offer, usually one of their “main” foods plus a smoothie and coffee or tea.

HYTT Travel Tip:
Their Snickers cake is to die for!

Mastio - vegan pizza with a view
Yummy rating: 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
My recommendation: Everything is amazing
For the best vegan pizza in Malmö look no further than Mastio, a beautiful little place right by the water in Limhamn.
Mastio’s menu is small but delicious, with 4-5 different pizzas changing every now and then. They always have 2 vegan pizzas on the menu as well as different kinds of salads.
A big plus is also the adorable little ice cream place right next door which belongs to the same owner as Mastio.

HYTT Travel Tip:
Take their pizza to-go and enjoy it while watching the boats in the harbour.

Laziza - Lebanese buffet
If you’re a fan of Lebanese food in a buffet style, Laziza is the place to go. For a very affordable (for Swedish standards at least) 99 SEK you can indulge in unlimited vegan delicacies like hummus, baba ganoush and different salads and breads. For an extra 30 SEK a dessert buffet with baklava and other sweet dishes is included on weekends.
Rau - Award winning food inspired by casual Asian dining
Looking for a more elevated dining experience without being too fancy? Rau is the perfect location for that. Located in central Malmö at the popular Davidshall Torg, the restaurant might be tiny but the food is delicious. Rau serves Asian inspired dishes prepared by chef Luong Lu and his mother Kim, who also own the (non-vegan) restaurant Köket Lu right next door.
